Zion Lutheran School is part of Zion Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod. The school started in 1884 using the same building the church used for worship. When a new church building was built in 1889 the brick schoolhouse was used only for school. In 1915 a two-story building was built to serve the growing school. By 1950 the school divided the main classroom area into multiple rooms. The Lord continued to bless Zion over the years. By 1960 a parish hall was added which allowed the second floor of the school building to be made into more classrooms. Today Zion is located in the building that was dedicated in 1991.
Zion offers a Christian education from Preschool 3 through 8th grade. Over 150 students attend our school and learn in a safe, caring environment. The school has high academic standards and quality extra-curricular activities.
